The weather has been a little subpar lately, but that isn't what has been holding me back. I decided to do a little electrical trouble shooting recently. My headlights have always been really dim and I finally realized that was because only my parking lights were coming on. I did some continuity testing and determined that either I had a break in the wires going from my headlight switch into the high beam switch, or the switch was bad. I think the switch is bad because after I jumped the wires, I finally got my high beams to work. I think there is still some issues to work out, but I'm on my way to solving that issue.
The second issue I had surfaced when I was fixing my self-canceling turn signals. (I had no idea the turn signals were actually supposed to self cancel.) My turn signal and wiper stalks have never been secured to the steering column. I first figured out that someone had broken the collar that tightens the whole assembly so I will need to try and repair that. In my pursuit to reinstate the self canceling signals, I turned my steering wheel to full lock and as I turned it back, hear a loud noise. Unfortunately my awesome new wheels foul on the fenders. I guess this means I need to correct that before I take it on a test drive. Time to find some Sportspack arches!
